Jessica Todia, DVM – Veterinarian
Dr. Jessica Todia (DVM) has been involved in the veterinary field for 21 years. She began working at a veterinary clinic in Morrow, OH when she was 15 years old. Growing up, she knew she wanted to attend either veterinary school or culinary school; as she also has a passion for cooking. At the age of 21, during her undergrad studies, she knew that the veterinary field was the right choice for her. She attended Ross University in St. Kitts, and graduated in 1997. Jessica works on large, small, and exotics. She especially enjoys focusing on wildlife, birds, and turtles.
Her husband, Dr. Tommy Wilson, and she make an amazing team here at A to Z. They met at Oklahoma State University while working on their clinical rotations. They both came to West Texas to work their first jobs and were married shortly after that. They were always told that “you would never leave West Texas once you wore out your first pair of boots.” Obviously the saying ran true for them, as they fell in love with the area and opened A to Z Veterinary Clinic together. When Dr. Todia isn’t working with animals, you will find her spending with Tyler (her son) and Tommy. She also enjoys working in her garden, canning, and cooking. At A to Z Veterinary Clinic we reap the benefits of her other passion – cooking. On Monday mornings she treats us to one of her amazing home-made breakfast/brunch dishes; which of course are made with vegetables from her garden.
Tommy Wilson, DVM – Veterinarian
Dr. Tommy Wilson (DVM) knew he wanted to be a veterinarian from the time he was in junior high school. However, he was pushed toward the medical field by many, and began as a pre-med student. After his second year of college, he knew that the only thing he wanted to be was a veterinarian because that was where his love was. He switched his major and pursued veterinary medicine instead. Tommy grew up on a farm outside Ponca City, OK. He attended Oklahoma State University for both his undergrad and veterinary studies. During his last year in veterinary school, during clinical rotations, he met his wife to-be, Jessica Todia. He graduated in the class of 1997. He took his first job in West Texas, and soon came to open A to Z Veterinary Clinic with Jessica. Tommy enjoys focusing on large animals, and arthroscopic/orthopedic surgeries. When Tommy isn’t working at the vet clinic he enjoys hunting, electric powered helicopters, old cars, and of course spending time with Tyler (his son) and Jessica.
Barbara – Office Administrator
Started work at the clinic as a receptionist. When she was offered the position of bookkeeper/business manager, she accepted and has been in that position for four years. Being able to do a job she enjoys while working with a wonderful staff has made this one of the most satisfying and rewarding jobs she has ever had. The great clientele and the amazing and varied animals that come to the clinic keep the job interesting. When Barbara started at the clinic, she had two dogs and two house cats. She and her husband now have six cats, three dogs, and three goats.
